LIPAN , a tribe of See also:North See also:American See also:Indians of Athabascan stock. Their former range was central See also:Texas. Later they were driven into See also:Mexico. They were pure nomads, lived entirely by See also:hunting, and were perhaps the most daring of the Texas Indians. A few survivors were brought back from Mexico in 1905 and placed on a See also:reservation in New Mexico.
