state of Central See also:India, in the See also:Bhopal agency. See also:Area, 741 sq. m.; pop. (1901) 92,093; estimated See also:revenue, £33,000; See also:tribute to See also:Holkar, £4000. The See also:chief, whose See also:title is See also:raja, is a See also:Rajput of the Omat See also:clan. The state was founded about 1681 by a See also:minister of See also:Rajgarh, who compelled the ruler of that state to See also:transfer to him See also:half his territory. The See also:town of Narsinghgarh had a See also:population in 1901 of 8778.
