Of his poems 73 hexameters (in three fragments) are preserved by See also:Stobaeus in his Florilegium; they See also:deal mainly with the See also:duty of a See also:good wife. From the remarks on See also:celibacy and the allusion to a mystic See also:marriage it has been conjectured that the author was a See also:Christian. The fragments, translated anonymously into See also:English under the See also:title of See also:Advice to the See also:Fair See also:Sex (1736), are in See also:Gaisford's Poetae minores Graeci, iii.
