PYRGOS , a See also:

town of See also:Greece, in the See also:province of Ells and See also:Achaea, 43 M. S.S.W. of See also:Patras. It is the third town in importance in the See also:Peloponnesus, and is connected with its See also:harbour, Katakolon, 7z M. distant, and also with Patras and See also:Olympia, by See also:rail. It has frequently been injured by See also:earth-quakes. Pop. (1907), 13,690.
