RYAZHSK , a See also:

town of See also:Russia, in the See also:government of See also:Ryazan, 72 M. by See also:rail S. of the See also:city of Ryazan. Pop. (1897) 12,993. It is one of the See also:chief railway junctions of Russia, where meet the lines from See also:Moscow to S. Russia and See also:Caucasia and from See also:Poland to See also:Samara and See also:Siberia. It has become a centre for all the See also:corn-growing regions of Russia, and is a wealthy See also:place.
