SATSUMA ISLANDS , a See also:

group of islands belonging to See also:Japan, lying westward of the See also:province of Satsuma (31° 40' N. and 129° 40' E.). The two See also:principal are Kami-Koshiki-shima (241 M. by 52) and Shimo-Koshiki-shima (82 m. by 54).
