Under the name of '1'aniralipta was the See also:capital of the See also:Peacock See also:dynasty, and a seaport at which the See also:Chinese Buddhist pilgrims embarked. It is now 6o m. from the See also:sea, and the ruins of the old See also:city See also:lie deep beneath river silt. It contains the See also:palace of a See also:local See also:raja, and some temples of See also:peculiar construction.
