Pop. 20,973. The town has a first-class meteorological and magnetical See also:observatory, a See also:cathedral and a museum; it is the seat of the See also:mining See also:administration for the Zlatoust See also:district, and has a brisk See also:trade in agricultural produce and manufactured wares.
