ZLATOUST , a See also:

town of See also:Russia, in the See also:government of See also:Ufa, See also:close to the See also:river Ufa, in a picturesque valley of the See also:middle Urals, x925 ft. above See also:sea level, 199 m. by See also:rail E.N.E. of the town of Ufa. Pop. 20,973. The town has a first-class meteorological and magnetical See also:observatory, a See also:cathedral and a museum; it is the seat of the See also:mining See also:administration for the Zlatoust See also:district, and has a brisk See also:trade in agricultural produce and manufactured wares.
