inconstance (n.)

late 14c., from Old French inconstance "inconstancy, instability" (13c.), from Latin inconstantia "inconstancy, fickleness," abstract noun from inconstans "changeable, inconsistent" (see inconstant). In English, inconstancy is now the usual word.
