(1901) 4556. Its hot springs and mud See also:baths are much resorted to, and were known to the See also:Romans as Aponi fans or See also:Aquae Patavinae. Some remains of the See also:ancient baths have been discovered (S. Mandruzzato, Trattato dei Bagni d' Abano, Padua, 1789). An See also:oracle of See also:Geryon See also:lay near, and the so-called sorles Praenestinae (C.I.L. i., See also:Berlin, 1863 ; 1438-1454), small See also:bronze cylinders inscribed, and used as oracles, were perhaps found here in the 16th See also:century.
