APENRADE , a See also:

town of See also:Germany in the Prussian See also:province of See also:Schleswig, beautifully situated on the Apenrade See also:Fjord, an See also:arm of the Little See also:Belt, 38 m. N. of the town of Schleswig. Pop. (1900) 5952. It is connected by a See also:branch See also:line with the See also:main railway of Schleswig, and possesses a See also:good See also:harbour, which affords shelter for a large carrying See also:trade. Fishing, See also:shipbuilding and various small factories provide occupation for the See also:population. The town is a bathing resort, as is Elisenlund See also:close by.
