ARGAO , a See also:

town on the See also:east See also:coast of See also:Cebu, Philippine Islands, 36 m. S.S.W. of the town of Cebu. Pop. (1903) 35,448. Large quantities of a See also:superior quality of cacao are produced in the vicinity, and See also:rice and See also:Indian See also:corn are other important products. A limited amount of See also:cotton is raised and See also:woven into See also:cloth. The See also:language is Cebu-Visayan.
