AWADIA and FADNIA, two small See also:

nomad tribes of pure Arab See also:blood living in the Bayuda See also:desert, Anglo-See also:Egyptian See also:Sudan, between the See also:wells of Jakdul and Metemma. They are often incorrectly classed as Ja'See also:alin. They own See also:numbers of horses and See also:cattle, the former of the See also:black See also:Dongola breed. At the See also:battle of See also:Abu Klea (17th of See also:January 1885) they were conspicuous for their courage in See also:riding against the See also:British square. See Anglo-Egyptian Sudan, edited by See also:Count See also:Gleichen (See also:London, 1905).
