capital of See also:Simcoe See also:county, See also:Ontario, See also:Canada, 56 m. N. of See also:Toronto, on See also:Lake Simcoe, an important centre on the See also:Grand See also:Trunk railway. It contains several breweries, See also:carriage factories, See also:boat-See also:building and railway shops, and manufactories of woollens, stoves and See also:leather. It is also a summer resort and the starting-point for the numerous Lake Simcoe steamers. Pop. (1901) 5949.
