(1903) 33,131• The See also:United States See also:government has established a military See also:post here, and the town has numerous See also:fine public buildings and private residences. It is the most important port of a province noted for the fertility of its See also:soil and the See also:industry of its inhabitants. Its exports, which are large, include See also:rice, See also:coffee of excellent quality, cacao, See also:sugar, See also:Indian See also:corn, horses and See also:cattle. The horses of Batangas are unusually strong and active. See also:Cotton is produced, and is See also:woven into fabrics by the See also:women. The See also:language is Tagalog.
