BROUGHAM , a four-wheeled closed See also:

carriage, seating two or more persons, and See also:drawn by a single See also:horse or pair, or propelled by motor. The See also:modern " brougham " has See also:developed and taken its name from the " See also:odd little See also:kind of See also:garden-See also:chair " described by See also:Thomas See also:Moore, which the first See also:Lord Brougham had made by a coachmaker to his own See also:design.
