BUCARAMANGA , a See also:

It is situated on the See also:Lebrija See also:river, 3248 ft. above See also:sea-level, in a mountainous See also:country See also:rich in See also:gold, See also:silver and See also:iron mines, and having See also:superior See also:coffee-producing lands in the valleys and on the See also:lower slopes. The city is laid out with wide, straight streets, is well built, and has many public buildings of a substantial See also:character.
