CABATUAN , a See also:town of the See also:province of Iloilo, Panay, Philippine Islands, on a See also:branch of the Suague See also:river, 15 M. N.W. of Iloilo, the See also:capital. Pop. (1903) 16,497. In 1903, after the See also:census had been taken, the neighbouring town of See also:Maasin, with a See also:population of 8401, was annexed to Cabatuan. Its See also:climate is healthful. The surrounding See also:country is very fertile and produces large quantities of See also:rice, as well as See also:Indian See also:corn, See also:tobacco, See also:sugar, See also:coffee and a See also:great variety of fruits.
