town of See also:north-western See also:Spain, in the See also:province of See also:Corunna; on the right See also:bank of the See also:river Allones, 20 m. S.W. of the See also:city of Corunna. Pop. (1900) 13,032. Carballo is the central See also:market of a thriving agricultural See also:district. At See also:San Juan de Carballo, on the opposite bank of the Allones, there are hot sulphurous springs.
