In 1819 he published Monete cufiche del Museo di Milano, and assisted See also:Cardinal See also:Mai in his Ulphilae partium ineditarum in Ambrosianis palimpsestis repertarum editio. A learned Memoire geographique et numismatique sur la pantie orientale de la Barbarie appelee Afrikia See also:par See also:les Arabes appeared in 1826, and established his reputation. In 1829 he published by himself the See also:Gothic version of the second See also:epistle of See also:Paul to the See also:Corinthians; and this was followed by the Gothic version of the epistle to the See also:Romans, the first epistle to the Corinthians, and the epistle to the See also:Ephesians in 1834, by See also:Galatians, See also:Philippians, and 1 See also:Thessalonians in 1835, and by 2 Thessalonians in 1839. He died at See also:Genoa on the loth of See also:April 1849. His See also:Life, by Biondelli, appeared at Milan in 1856.
