CRUVEILHIER, See also:JEAN (1791–1874) , See also:French anatomist, was See also:born at See also:Limoges in 1791, and was educated at the university of See also:Paris, where in 1825 he became See also:professor of See also:anatomy. In 1836 he became the first occupant of the recently founded See also:chair of pathological anatomy. He died at Jussac in 1874. His See also:chief See also:works are Anatomie descriptive (1834–1836); Anatomie pathologique du See also:corps humain (1829–1842), with many coloured plates; Traite d'anatomie pathologique generale (1849–1864); Anatomie du See also:system nerveux de l'homme (1845); Trait" d'anatomie descriptive (1851).
