EUPHORBUS , son of Panthoi.is, one of the bravest of the Trojan heroes, slain by See also:

Menelaus (Iliad, xvii. 1-6o). See also:Pythagoras, in support of his See also:doctrine of the transmigration of souls, declared that he had once been this Euphorbus, whose See also:shield, hung up in the See also:temple of See also:Argos by Menelaus, he claimed as his own (See also:Horace, Odes, i. 28. 11; Diog. Laert. viii. 1).
