HARVEY , a See also:

(rwoo) 5395 (982 See also:foreign-See also:born); (1910) 7227. It is served by the Chicago Terminal See also:Transfer, the See also:Grand See also:Trunk and the Illinois Central See also:railways. Harvey is a manufacturing and See also:residence suburb of Chicago. Among its manufactures are railway, foundry and See also:machine-See also:shop supplies, See also:mining and ditching machinery, See also:stone crushers, See also:street-making and street-cleaning machinery, stoves and motor-vehicles. It was named in See also:honour of Turlington W. Harvey, a Chicago capitalist, founded in 189o, incorporated as a See also:village in 1891 and chartered as a city in 1895.
