Harvey is a manufacturing and See also:residence suburb of Chicago. Among its manufactures are railway, foundry and See also:machine-See also:shop supplies, See also:mining and ditching machinery, See also:stone crushers, See also:street-making and street-cleaning machinery, stoves and motor-vehicles. It was named in See also:honour of Turlington W. Harvey, a Chicago capitalist, founded in 189o, incorporated as a See also:village in 1891 and chartered as a city in 1895.
