MALLANWAN , a See also:

town in See also:Hardoi See also:district, the See also:United Provinces, See also:India. Pop. (1901), 11,158. Under native See also:rule the town possessed considerable See also:political importance, and upon the See also:British See also:annexation of Oudh it was selected as the headquarters of the district, but was abandoned in favour of Hardoi after the See also:Mutiny. See also:Saltpetre and See also:brass utensils are manufactured.
