MANETENERIS , a tribe of See also:

South See also:American See also:Indians of the upper Purus See also:river, and between it and the Jurua, See also:north-western See also:Brazil. They manufacture See also:cotton See also:cloth, and have See also:iron axes and See also:fish hooks. The men See also:wear See also:long ponchos, the See also:women sacks open at the bottom. The Maneteneris are essentially a waterside See also:people. Their cedarwood canoes are very long and beautifully made.
