The Palazzo Ducale (now the prefecture) was erected in 1701, and was a summer See also:residence of See also:Napoleon's See also:sister, Elisa Baciocchi, princess of See also:Lucca, who caused the See also:ancient See also:cathedral opposite to be destroyed.
