MUSA KHEL , a See also:Pathan tribe on the Dera See also:Ghazi See also:Khan border of the See also:Punjab See also:province of See also:India. They are of See also:Kakar origin, numbering 4670 fighting men. They enter See also:British territory by the Vihowa Pass, and carry on an extensive See also:trade, but are not dependent on India for the necessaries of See also:life. They are a peaceful and See also:united See also:race, and have been friendly to the British, but at enmity with the Khetrans and the Baluch tribes to the See also:south of their See also:country. In 1879 the Musa Khels and other Pathan tribes to the number of 5000 made a demonstration against Vihowa, but the See also:town was reinforced and they dispersed.
