NAJIBABAD , a See also:

town of See also:British See also:India, in the Bijnor See also:district of the See also:United Provinces, 31 M. S.E. of See also:Hardwar. Pop. (1901) 19,568. It was founded in the See also:middle of the 18th See also:century by a See also:Rohilla See also:chief, and still contains several architectural monuments of Rohilla magnificence. It has a station on the Oudh & See also:Rohilkhand railway, with a junction for the See also:branch to Kotdwara. There is considerable See also:trade in See also:timber, See also:sugar and See also:grain, and manufactures of See also:metal-See also:ware, shoes, blankets and See also:cotton See also:cloth.
