(1900) 11,388. The See also:country around is See also:flat and fertile, producing much See also:wine, See also:dates, oranges, oil, See also:saffron and aniseed. In the town there are tanneries, and manufactures of See also:alcohol, See also:chocolate and See also:soap. The See also:women make See also:fine See also:lace. In the neighbouring See also:village of Salinetas de Elda there are warm See also:sulphur and saline See also:baths.
