CITY , a city and seaside resort of Cape May See also:county, New See also:Jersey, U.S.A., in the S.E. See also:part of the See also:state, about 10 m. S.W. of See also:Atlantic City. Pop. (1890), 452; (1900), 1307; (1905), 1835; (1910), 1950. It is served by the Atlantic City and the Vt est Jersey & Seashore See also:railways. The city is laid out to See also:face both the ocean and See also:Great See also:Egg Harbor See also:Bay, and is a popular resort during the summer months. Ocean City was incorporated as a See also:borough in 1884, and was chartered as a city in 1897.
