He belonged to a well-known Belgian See also:family, and his See also:cousin, Edouard Pirmez, was distinguished for his See also:works on See also:literary and See also:political subjects. He lived an uneventful See also:life at his See also:chateau of Acoz, in See also:Hainaut, where he died in May 1883. Pirmez was an ardent admirer of the See also:French romanticists. His works include See also:Les Feuillees: pensees et maximes (1862); See also:Victor See also:Hugo (1863); Jours de solitude (1869); Remo; Souvenirs d'un See also:frere (188o) ; Heures de philosophie (1881); and the See also:posthumous Lettres d Jose (1884).
