SHUKRIA , a large tribe of See also:

African nomads living in the " See also:Island of Meroe," i.e. the See also:country between the See also:Atbara and the See also:Blue See also:Nile. The See also:family name of the See also:principal, See also:branch of this tribe is See also:Abu See also:Sin, and Gedaref, an important See also:town in the centre of the Shukria country, was formerly called Suk Abu Sin.
