VENOURLA , a seaport on the See also:

It was an See also:early site of both Dutch and See also:English factories, and was formerly the See also:port for communication with the garrisons in the See also:Southern Mahratta See also:country. In the neighbourhood are the " Burnt Islands," with the Vengurla See also:Rock lighthouse.
