Here are the well preserved ruins of a former See also:castle of the Brethren of the See also:Sword, afterwards (from 1237) of the See also:grand-See also:master of the See also:Teutonic Knights. In 1577 the See also:garrison blew it up to prevent it from falling into the hands of See also:Ivan the Terrible of Russia. It was rebuilt, but has been in ruins since a See also:fire in [748.
