ZAIMUKHT , the name of a small See also:

Pathan tribe on the See also:Kohat border of the See also:North-See also:West Frontier See also:Province of See also:India. The Zaimukhts inhabit the hills to the See also:south of the Orakzais between the Miranzai and See also:Kurram valleys. Their See also:country may be described as a triangle, with the range of hills known as the Samana as its See also:base, and the See also:village of Thal in the Kurram valley as its See also:apex. This includes a See also:tract on its western See also:side occupied by an See also:Orakzai See also:clan. The See also:total See also:area is about 400 sq. m., of which the Orakzais occupy a See also:fourth. The Zaimukhts are a See also:fine-looking powerful See also:race, with a fighting strength of some 3000 men.
