Italian architect, was See also:born at See also:Perugia, and was probably a See also:pupil of Caporali. He was an enthusiastic student of See also:ancient See also:architecture, and his See also:style gained for him a See also:European reputation. See also:Genoa is indebted to him for a number of its most magnificent palaces, and specimens of his skill may be seen in the churches of See also:San See also:Paolo and See also:Santa See also:Vittoria at See also:Milan, in certain parts of the Escurial, and in numerous churches and palaces throughout See also:Sicily, See also:Flanders and See also:Germany. See See also:Rossi, Di Galeazzo Alessi memorie (Perugia, 1873).
