BADALOCCHIO, SISTO , surnamed See also:Rosa (1581-1647), See also:Italian painter and engraver, was See also:born at See also:Parma. He was of the school of Annibale Carracci, by whom he was highly esteemed for See also:design. His See also:principal engravings are the See also:series known as See also:Raphael's See also:Bible, which were executed by him in See also:conjunction with Lanfranco, another See also:pupil of Carracci. The best of his paintings, which are few in number, are at Parma. He died at See also:Bologna.
