Pop . (1905) 7465. There are See also:cloth, artificial See also:flower, and See also:cigar factories, See also:glass-See also:works, See also:potteries, and in the neighbourhood large See also:granite quarries. It is famous as the See also:scene of a See also:battle, on the r 2th of May 1813, between the See also:French and the See also:Allies after See also:Napoleon's See also:retreat from See also:Moscow. It was the See also:residence of See also:Benno, See also:bishop of See also:Meissen, in the See also:firth See also:century, and the " Bishop's Road " still runs from here to Meissen.
