He furnished much material for See also:Robert See also:Estienne's See also:Thesaurus Linguae Latinae. His See also:nephew, See also:Jean Capperonnier (1716-1775), his successor in the chair of Greek at the College de France, was also a distinguished scholar, and published valuable See also:editions of classical authors—Caesar, See also:Anacreon, See also:Plautus, See also:Sophocles.
