DENILIQUIN , a municipal See also:

town of Townsend See also:county, New See also:South See also:Wales, See also:Australia, 534 M. See also:direct S.W. of See also:Sydney, and 195 M. by See also:rail N. of See also:Melbourne. Pop. (19o1) 2644. The business of the town is chiefly connected with the interests of the See also:sheep and See also:cattle farmers of the See also:Riverina See also:district, a See also:plain See also:country, in the See also:main See also:pastoral, but suited in some parts for cultivation. Deniliquin has a well-known public school.
