ELSTER , a See also:

spa and inland watering-See also:place of See also:Germany, in the See also:kingdom of See also:Saxony, on the See also:Weisse Elster, See also:close to the Bohemian frontier on the railway See also:Plauen-See also:Eger, and 20 M. S. of the former. It has some See also:industries of See also:lace-making and See also:weaving, and a See also:population of about 2000, in addition to visitors. The See also:mineral springs, saline-chalybeate, specific in cases of See also:nervous disorders and feminine ailments, have been lately supplemented by See also:baths of various kinds, and these, together with the natural attractions of the place as a See also:climatic See also:health resort, have combined to make it a fashionable watering-place during the summer See also:season.
