ESPERANCE , a small seaport on a See also:

fine natural See also:harbour on the See also:south See also:coast of See also:West See also:Australia, 275 M. See also:north-See also:east from See also:Albany. It is a summer resort, and in the neighbourhood are interesting caves. Its importance as a seaport is due to its being on the high road between the eastern states and the See also:gold-See also:fields, and the nearest See also:place for the shipment of gold from the See also:Coolgardie fields.
