FREUDENSTADT , a See also:

town of See also:Germany, in the See also:kingdom of See also:Wurttemberg, on the right See also:bank of the Murg, 4o m. S.W. from See also:Stuttgart, on the railway to Hochdorf. Pop. 7000. It has a See also:Protestant and a See also:Roman See also:Catholic See also:church, some small manufactures of See also:cloth, See also:furniture, knives, nails and See also:glass, and is frequented as a See also:climatic See also:health resort. It was founded in 1599 by Protestant refugees from See also:Salzburg.
