GRUNBERG , a See also:

town of See also:Germany, in Prussian See also:Silesia, beautifully situated between two hills on an affluent of the See also:Oder, and on the railway from See also:Breslau to See also:Stettin via Kustrin, 36 m. N.N.W. of See also:Glogau. Pop. (1905) 20,987. It has a See also:Roman See also:Catholic and two Evangelical churches, a See also:modern school and a technical (textiles) school. There are manufactures of See also:cloth, See also:paper, machinery, See also:straw hats, leathet and See also:tobacco. The prosperity of the town depends chiefly on the See also:vine culture in the See also:neighbour-See also:hood, from which, besides the exportation of a large quantity of grapes, about 700,000 gallons of See also:wine are manufactured annually.
