river of See also:Bavaria, rising in the See also:south-See also:west extremity of the See also:kingdom, among the Algauer See also:Alps. Taking a northerly course, it quits the mountains at Immenstadt, and, flowing by See also:Kempten, from which point it is navigable for rafts, forms for some distance the boundary between Bavaria and See also:Wurttemberg, and eventually strikes the See also:Danube (right See also:bank) just above See also:Ulm. Its See also:total length is 103 m.
