KALK , a See also:

town in the Prussian See also:Rhine See also:province, on the right See also:bank of the Rhine, 2 M. E. of See also:Cologne. Pop. (1905), 25,478. Kalk is an important junction of railway lines connecting Cologne with places on the right bank of the See also:river. It has various See also:iron and chemical See also:industries, brickworks and breweries, and an electric See also:tramway joins it with Cologne.
