KOLINSKY .—See also:

Size 12 X21 in. Is one of the See also:marten tribe. The underwool is See also:short and rather weak, but See also:regular, as is also the See also:top See also:hair; the See also:colour is usually yellow. They have been successfully dyed and used as a substitute for See also:sable. They are found in See also:Siberia, Amoor, See also:China and See also:Japan, but the best are from Siberia. They are See also:light in See also:weight and therefore suitable for linings of coats. The tails are used for artists' " sable " brushes. The See also:fur has often been designated as red or Tatar sable. Value Is. 6d. to 4s. 6d.
