The prevailing colour is a See also:medium See also:brown, and many are quite yellow. The See also:dyeing of these very See also:pale skins has been for so See also:long well executed that it has been possible to make very See also:good useful and effective articles of them at a moderate See also:price compared to Russian sable. The finest skins are found in the See also:East See also:Main and the Esquimaux See also:Bay, in the See also:Hudson's Bay See also:Company's districts, and the poorest in See also:Alaska. They are not found very far See also:south of the See also:northern boundary of the See also:United States. The best skins are excellent in quality, colour and effect, and See also:wear well. Value 27s. 3d. to 290s.
