MEPPEL , a See also:

It is favourably situated at the confluence of a number of canals and See also:rivers which communicate hence with the Zuider Zee by the Meppeler Diep, and See also:rose rapidly into prominence in the 19th See also:century. The See also:chief business is in See also:butter, eggs, See also:cattle and pigs, while See also:bleaching, See also:dyeing and See also:shipbuilding are also carried on here.
