OHRDRUF , a See also:

town of See also:Germany in the duchy of See also:Saxe-See also:Coburg-See also:Gotha, rr m. by See also:rail S.E. of Gotha. Pop. (1905) 6114. It has a See also:castle, two Evangelical churches, a technical and other See also:schools, and manufactures of See also:porcelain, See also:paper, See also:copper goods, shoes and small wares. See also:Close by is the summer resort of Luisenthal. As See also:early as 725 there was a monastery at Ohrdruf, which received municipal rights in 1399. With six neighbouring villages it forms the See also:county of Obergleichen.
